Admission Requirements
Students must:
- Be 18 years of age prior to the start date of the course
- Be a high school graduate or equivalent
(including Grade 12 English with a “C” minimum grade) - Be physically fit to perform the practical skills components of the training
- Provide medical note indicating as required by Champions Fire College
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Have clear criminal record
- Possess Standard First Aid Certification and CPR Level C or Medical First Responder
- Provide copy of certificate as required by Champions Fire College and specific NFPA Standards
- Purchase or obtain current edition of NFPA Manuals required for the course, including IFSTA or Jones and Bartlett Manuals
